Analysis / Bias

In review, the Hill Reporter is strongly left biased in story selection that consistently favors the left. There is moderate use of loaded emotional language such as the use of the word “trolls”: France’s Army Trolls Trump After He Cancels Memorial Visit Due To Rain. and use of the word “disgustingly” in this headline, Watch as Jeff Sessions Disgustingly Jokes About Separating Children at the Border. The Hill Reporter always sources information it reports in articles. Sources range from the strongly left biased such as Raw Story to low biased sources such as the AP and Reuters.

Although Hill Reporter is clearly left biased they have not failed a fact check as of this review.

Overall, we rate the Hill Reporter Left biased based on story selection and wording that favors the left and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing of information. (D. Van Zandt 11/12/2018)
