History

The Council of Conservative Citizens (CofCC) is an American far-right organization that supports a large variety of conservative and paleoconservative causes in addition to white nationalism and white separatism. Its Statement of Principles says that they “oppose all efforts to mix the races of mankind”. Several members of the CofCC Board of Directors are former leaders of the segregationist Citizens’ Councils of America. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center this is a White Supremacist hate group. In 2020, the former URL for this site now links to merica1st.com and titled National Conservative with the tagline “America First”.

The website completelyly lacks transparency on every level however it does redirect from the former Council of Conservative Citizens website.

Analysis / Bias

In review, the website publishes unsourced extreme right content such as this Was Antifa “soccer tournament” just another form of plausible denial for violent rioters? This story, like most is unsourced. In general, we cannot find who owns this site or if it is connected to the previous hate group. Either way, the content is in alignment with far-right nationalism and not credible.
