History

The Council of Conservative Citizens (CofCC) is an American far-right organization that supports a large variety of conservative and paleoconservative causes in addition to white nationalism and white separatism. Its Statement of Principles says that they “oppose all efforts to mix the races of mankind.” Several members of the CofCC Board of Directors are former leaders of the segregationist Citizens’ Councils of America.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, this is a White Supremacist hate group. In 2022, the former URL for this site now links to conservative-headlines.org.

Analysis / Bias

In review, the website publishes unsourced extreme right content such as this Antifa Arrested as Right-Wingers Rally for James Fields and Nationalists. This story, like most, is unsourced. They generally feature content that portrays minorities negatively, such as having a section dedicated specifically to black-on-white crime, such as this Black Murder Roundup: January of 2022. Not surprisingly, they do not mention the White Supremacist mass shooting that recently took place in Buffalo, New York.

This group aligns with the Great Replacement Conspiracy through their views on minorities and immigration. Further, they have been labeled a hate group.
