  • Where do I log in/out?

On a PC/laptop, the login is found in the upper right-hand corner of the top menu bar (the red bar). On mobile, it is located on the top menu. The direct link is here:

  • How do I change my billing info/credit card, etc.?

First, make sure you are logged in. Then click on the ad-free sign-up link at the top of the page (menu). Once on that page, you will see a link that says “Return to Your Account” click that, and you will see the option to change bill info. Just put in the new card info, and you should be good to go.

  • Why did my monthly/yearly account renew without warning?

Before you signed up, we put in bold lettering that accounts will renew until canceled. The exact wording is: “All transactions are handled securely by Stripe, which exceeds the most stringent security standards. Memberships will renew until canceled.”

  • My account was renewed, but I meant to cancel. Will you issue a refund?

It happens. We understand. Yes, we will issue a refund, but we hope you will continue to support us.
Important: Please contact us directly for a refund. Please do not file a credit card dispute as we have to pay extra to refund the money.

  • How do I cancel?

The cancel link is found in the footer of the website. Of note, when you cancel, your ad-free service will continue until the next renewal date. The account is canceled at the next renewal date, and you will not be billed.

  • Can I purchase multiple memberships for a group or organization?

Yes, you can. Please contact us via email with the number of accounts needed, and we will provide a quote.

  • Are memberships/donations tax-deductible?

No, we are not a nonprofit. Memberships and donations fund the website and pay staff and ownership for their work.

  • I signed up with PayPal, but it did not create an account?

We are not sure why, but sometimes PayPal does not generate a membership. It is rare but has happened. Please contact us if this happens. It is an easy fix on our end.

  • I am having problems with my membership that are not answered above.
