History

BrightNews.ai is a right-wing conspiracy, pseudoscience, and news aggregation website created by Mike Adams, founder of the Natural News network. BrightNews.ai replaced Censored.news, which previously aggregated content from alternative and conspiracy-oriented websites.

Before the redirect, Censored.news announced that it was “migrating to BrightNews.ai” and joining the AI tools developed by Mike Adams. Adams has also publicly identified BrightNews.ai as one of the AI platforms he created, along with BrightLearn.ai and BrightAnswers.ai.

Mike Adams also operates Natural News, NewsTarget, Brighteon, and numerous related websites. PolitiFact previously reported that the Natural News network, long known for health misinformation, expanded into strongly pro-Trump political content after being restricted by major social-media platforms.

Funded by / Ownership

BrightNews.ai is part of Mike Adams’ broader Natural News/Brighteon digital ecosystem. Adams has publicly described himself as the developer of BrightNews.ai and related AI platforms.

The broader Natural News network is commercially supported through advertising, product sales, subscriptions, online services, and promotion of products sold through Adams-affiliated properties, including the Health Ranger Store.

Analysis / Bias

BrightNews.ai aggregates and analyzes stories from dozens of alternative-media websites and uses artificial intelligence to generate topical trend summaries. The source list includes Natural News, Children’s Health Defense, Climate Depot, The New American, Information Liberation, The Grayzone, Technocracy News, Watts Up With That, SHTF Plan, and other outlets with histories of conspiracy theories, pseudoscience, extreme political bias, or failed fact checks.

The site’s own AI-generated summaries frequently promote conspiratorial and pseudoscientific narratives. For example, the health section has highlighted themes such as “Vaccine Safety Under Scrutiny: Mounting Evidence of Harm and the Collapse of Public Trust” and “COVID-19 Hospital Protocols Exposed: A Reckoning of Medical Tyranny.” Earlier trend summaries included claims about “Nanotech Microchips Implanted via COVID Vaccine to Enable Mind Control” and a supposed “Globalist Depopulation Agenda.”

The political section similarly promotes themes such as “Covert Military Government: The Deep State’s Judicial Coup and the Trump Counter-Operation”, government propaganda, media manipulation, and a “digital control grid.” These themes closely match conspiracy narratives historically promoted across Mike Adams’ Natural News network.

BrightNews.ai also amplifies climate-change denial and anti-environmental narratives. Its science and energy sections have generated trend summaries such as “The Hypocritical and Manipulative Climate Agenda Exposed” and “Green Energy Mandates Backfire.” Its monitored sources include Climate Depot and Watts Up With That, both known for rejecting or minimizing the scientific consensus on human-caused climate change.

While BrightNews.ai occasionally aggregates legitimate reporting from mainstream or higher-quality sources, the overall selection strongly favors anti-establishment, conspiratorial, anti-vaccine, climate-skeptical, and far-right content. Its AI-generated summaries often intensify this framing by presenting speculative or unsupported claims as established trends rather than critically evaluating them.

In general, BrightNews.ai continues the editorial orientation of Censored.news and the wider Natural News network, combining extreme right-wing political framing with health misinformation, conspiracy theories, and pseudoscientific claims.

Failed Fact Checks

  • See Natural News for numerous failed fact checks involving vaccines, COVID-19, medicine, climate change, elections, and conspiracy theories.
  • BrightNews.ai also aggregates multiple sources with documented histories of failed fact checks and pseudoscientific claims.

Overall, we rate BrightNews.ai as an extreme Right Biased Tin-Foil Hat Conspiracy and Pseudoscience source based on its promotion of anti-vaccine misinformation, climate-change denial, deep-state narratives, medical conspiracies, and reliance on highly questionable sources. We rate it Very Low for factual reporting due to its association with the Natural News network, amplification of false and unsupported claims, and use of AI to synthesize unreliable material without adequate factual safeguards.
