However, News Front is widely identified by governments and disinformation researchers as a Russian propaganda and disinformation outlet. The U.S. Embassy in Georgia describes News Front as a Crimea-based propaganda outlet with links to Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), stating that it masquerades as an independent news site while spreading Kremlin narratives.
