Bias: Extreme Right, Fake News

Notes: According to their about page Daily World Information describe its focus as “Here you can find politic news, news about celebrities, politicians and everything that is happening in the world.“ However, who runs the site is not known.

Daily World Information publishes stories with sensational loaded words such as “BOMBSHELL: Michelle Obama Was Caught Dating Someone Secretly!” In this article they place a picture of Michelle Obama and Prince Henry hugging without elaborating further. Without a disclaimer stating the website is satire, we assume this is just a fake news story, since it obviously is not true. Daily World Information also publishes other fake stories such as “Breaking News: Obama’s Half Sister Maya Was Working As a Prostitute Back In The 90’s?” They also pass fake Breaking news such as “BREAKING: New York Times Connected With ANTIFA – What Just LEAKED Is Shocking.” The general theme is all fake news stories are those that would appeal to the extreme right. Overall, we rate Daily World Information a Questionable Source based on extreme right wing bias and the publishing of multiple fake news stories. (M. Huitsing 1/2/2018)
