Analysis / Bias
In review, Baptist News Global publishes original news reporting as well as curated news from other sources related to religion and the Baptist Church. Original reporting is often well sourced and uses moderate loaded language such as this: COVID-19 pandemic creating long-lasting food shortages for poor. Curated news comes from a wide variety of credible sources such as the Associated Press, The Atlantic, Christianity Today and the Washington Post.
Baptist News Global also has a section for opinion pieces that slightly favor the left such as this: George Floyd and the silence of white evangelical America. They also frequently report negatively on the Trump administration such as this: The First Amendment and religious freedom compel me to refute Trump’s position on churches reopening. In general, they report news factually and with a slight left-leaning editorial bias.
