Analysis / Bias

In review, Baptist News Global publishes original news reporting and curated news from other sources related to religion and the Baptist Church. Original reporting is often well-sourced and uses moderate loaded language such as this: COVID-19 pandemic creating long-lasting food shortages for poor. Curated news comes from a wide variety of credible sources such as the Associated Press, The Atlantic, Christianity Today, and The Washington Post.

Baptist News Global also has a section for opinion pieces that slightly favor the left, such as this: George Floyd and the silence of white evangelical America. They also frequently report negatively on the Trump administration, such as this: The First Amendment and religious freedom compel me to refute Trump’s position on churches reopening. They generally report news factually and with a slight left-leaning editorial bias.
