World Magazine - Right Bias - Conservative - Republican - Not CredibleFactual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

Factual Reporting: MIXED

Notes: World is a biweekly Christian news magazine, published in the United States by God’s World Publications, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Asheville, North Carolina. World’s declared perspective is one of Christian evangelical Protestantism. Our review of World reveals a source that tends to report news factually, however, there is a significant political bias based on their Christian perspective. Ie. Against abortion, LGBTQ rights, and even evolution. If not for generally solid news reporting, we would have rated World in our pseudoscience category. Based on their promotion of pseudoscience such as Intelligent Design, we rate World Mixed for factual reporting and right biased politically. (D. Van Zandt 5/11/2017)
