According to an article published by The News, their owner is Capital Media which is owned by the Anuar Maccise family. According to an El Pais article, the family also owns Grupo Mac Multimedia and publishes a wide variety of newspapers such as “Capital de México, the sports stadium Estadio, Diario DF, the weekly Cambio, in addition to the English-language newspaper The News” The CEO is Luis Maccise. The News (Mexico) is funded through advertising; however, the ownership information is not transparent.
