Notes: Founded in 1923, the Daily News (Longview) is a print newspaper serving the greater Longview, Washington State region. The paper is owned by Lee Enterprises, which according to Open Secrets has donated 88% of it money to Republican politicians since 1990.

In review, the Daily News (Longview) covers local news with journalists and reporters throughout the Longview region. For national news, they use the Associated Press. All news is reported with minimal loaded words and bias. The Daily News always sources its information properly. Editorially, there is a balance between right and left-leaning opinions with just a slight edge to the left. This paper was awarded the Pulitzer in 1981 for its coverage of the Mt.
