In review, the Longview News-Journal covers local news using journalists and local writers. National/International news is republished from the Associated Press. Editorials use minimally loaded words such as this: Editorial: Big increase in flu deaths makes vaccination vital and are properly sourced. Further, some editorials are republished from the left-center Houston Chronicle. Regarding political endorsements, they have endorsed both Democrats and Republicans, but certainly more Republicans in their recent history.
