These sources have minimal bias and use very few loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes). The reporting is factual and usually sourced. These are the most credible media sources. See all Least Biased Sources.
Factual Reporting: HIGH
Notes: Noozhawk is an online newspaper that provides coverage for Santa Barbara County, California. Noozhawk was founded in October 2007 and covers a variety of topics including local news and community information for Santa Barbara as well as opinion pieces. According to their Facebook page “newshawk, n. (slang) – a newspaper reporter” and their motto is “The freshest news in Santa Barbara, day and night.”
Bill Macfadyen is the founder and publisher of Noozhawk.com and Tom Bolton, executive editor and partner. Although they use words that are charged with emotion in some headlines/articles and with left bias such as these: “Arrogance and Ignorance: The Story of Mooch” They do publish stories that are center-right too, such as Michael Barone (senior political analyst for The Washington Examiner,) “Anti-Trump Overreach Could Backfire”. Therefore we rate Noozhawk as least biased based on covering both sides editorially and high for factual reporting. (M. Huitsing 8/16/2017)
