FALSE Claim by Rob Astorino (R): “We’ve got a parole board right now that has released 20 cop killers in the last two years under Hochul.”

Politifact rating: False (Since Hochul became governor, five people convicted of killing police officers have been released on parole, according to a list maintained by a police union.)

Politifact rating: Mostly True (The reversal of Roe v. Wade eliminated the national right to abortion access in the U.S., leaving it to states to regulate. That makes the U.S. an outlier among other developed nations, which have laws or court rulings that provide for national access to abortion.)

FALSE Claim by Epoch Times, Gateway Pundit, Oath Keepers: It’s coming to light (J6) that the Rotunda doors at the US capitol which weigh 20,000 pounds each had to be opened from the inside. That means someone put in the code and opened the doors from the inside.

The Dispatch rating: False (No evidence exists to support the claim that an electronic mechanism locks the doors from the inside or that it was opened from the inside.)
