Uintah Basin Standard is a weekly newspaper in Roosevelt, Utah. It was formed on January 3, 1957, by merging the Roosevelt Standard, established in 1914, and the Uintah Basin Record, which began in 1931. In July 1967, the Uintah Basin Standard expanded by absorbing the Duchesne Record. The newspaper covers local news, sports, agriculture, editorials, and obituaries in Duchesne and Uintah counties.
