Analysis / Bias

The American Presidency Project primarily focuses on providing access to original documents related to the U.S. presidency.

The site also publishes the official platforms of political parties, such as the 2024 Republican and the 2020 Democratic Party Platform. In addition, it offers analysis pieces, such as “Forecasting the 2024 Election (rev).” However, this analysis generally lacks direct links to its sources, which affects transparency. Despite this, the information on the website references official government documents and .gov sources that are archived on the website.

Editorially, the website is fact-based and low-biased. It focuses on official documents and does not add additional opinions to sway readers.
