Definition: AIDS denialism is the belief that HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) aren’t linked. It is a belief that has fooled many people, including members of the rock band ‘Foo Fighters’. It has lead to the deaths of various people who have stopped medical treatment due to their beliefs.
Reasoning: HIV has been, without a reasonable doubt, been shown to cause AIDS by various institutions, including the CDC, WHO, and NIAID.
