Claimant: Social Media
Claim: A video authentically shows Donald Trump failing to salute two Marines after disembarking Marine One on Oct. 20, 2026.
Rating: TRUE
Explanation: Longer video footage and photographs confirm that Trump did not salute the two Marines after exiting Marine One. However, presidents are not legally required to salute military personnel; doing so is a modern presidential custom rather than a legal mandate.
