Trump Jr. and Lara Trump Join Forces with Salem Media

Donald Trump Jr. and Lara Trump have signed a strategic deal with Salem Media Group, making them key figures in the company’s future direction. Salem has acquired a 30% stake in MxM News, a conservative news aggregation app co-owned by Trump Jr., and established a long-term services agreement with him to drive promotional and growth initiatives. Meta to Resume AI Training with Public EU Content

RSF Fights Trump-Era Executive Orders Targeting Law Firms

Reporters Without Borders (RSF), along with over 60 press freedom organizations and journalists, has filed legal briefs opposing executive orders by Donald Trump that target law firms representing clients critical of his administration. These orders terminated government contracts and suspended security clearances for firms like Perkins Coie, Jenner and Block, and WilmerHale. The legal action, coordinated by The Intercept’s Press Freedom Defense Fund and the Freedom of the Press Foundation, aims to restore legal protection for media outlets under threat.
