FALSE Claim via Social Media: It took Georgia hours to count 2024 primary vote, weeks to count 2020 vote.

USA Today rating: False (Though the winners of the Georgia primaries were declared by the media on election day, the votes were still being counted by officials. Several factors played into the amount of time it took officials to count the votes in 2020, including the COVID-19 pandemic, high voter turnout and a spike in mail-in ballots.)
