Right-wing tech platforms are providing a refuge for those outcast from mainstream social media – including Infowars’ Alex Jones

The swift deplatforming of Alex Jones by Facebook and YouTube was just the biggest and latest in a long series of bans that have pushed extremists into lesser-traveled corners of the internet.

A small group of tech startups have emerged catering to users increasingly deemed too extreme for mainstream social media. And with Jones looking for new platforms, these small operations are beginning to see an uptick in users.
