Analysis / Bias

In review, the Waco Tribune-Herald covers local news via journalists and with minimal bias in wording such as this: State to seek death penalty in 2 capital murder cases. National news is covered exclusively by the Associated Press. Editorially there does not seem to be a connection with Trump: David Gallagher, David Schleicher, Board of Contributors: Mr. President, why not call Sen. Cruz ‘Lion Ted’? In general, they are balanced and present both sides.

A factual search reveals they have not failed a fact check.

Overall, we rate the Waco Tribune-Herald Least Biased based on a balanced editorial page and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing and a clean fact check record. (D. Van Zandt 6/28/2019)
