Analysis /Bias
Voz Media demonstrates a Right Bias in its reporting, consistently framing stories to align with conservative viewpoints. For instance, the article “Trump won 68% of the Native American vote” discusses increasing support for Donald Trump among minority groups but does not provide external corroboration. It cites a post on X (formerly Twitter) that displays an image claiming NBC as the source. However, this image lacks a direct link to an NBC article or verifiable data, undermining the claim’s credibility. Additionally, the article references a 2017 ABC News tweet unrelated to the 2024 election, further weakening the article’s reliability. This reliance on unverified social media content and outdated sources reflects poor sourcing practices.
Another article, “Bidenomics: Nothing to be thankful for,” critiques the Biden administration’s economic policies. While the article references data on rising costs, it relies on indirect sourcing, such as the “econTabReport by Veronica Silveri,” hosted on a platform like Scribd, rather than linking directly to the original Economist/YouGov Poll which obscures the primary source, making it difficult to verify the data’s authenticity. Additionally, the article uses emotionally loaded language, such as “nothing to be thankful for,” which detracts from objective reporting and aligns with a partisan narrative.
