History
The Vandenberg Coalition is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit foreign policy organization launched in 2021. It is named after Republican Senator Arthur Vandenberg, who became a prominent advocate of bipartisan international engagement after World War II.
According to its About page, the organization promotes American leadership, a strong national defense, strategic international cooperation, economic security, and the defense of democratic values. Carrie Filipetti serves as Executive Director and previously held senior foreign-policy positions in the Trump administration. Elliott Abrams chairs the governing board.
