These media sources are slightly to moderately conservative in bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor conservative causes. These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Right-Center sources.
Factual Reporting: HIGH
Notes: Student News Daily (SND) is a site that provides, as the name suggests, current news and information to students. It provides almost no original content, but instead links to stories from a wide range of external news sources as diverse as Reuters and The Daily Caller. Additionally, SND provides questions for the student after the articles intended to promote critical thinking on the issues. Due to the diverse variety of the news sources, the factual content and political bias of the articles ranges from very high to very low. Although there is a slight preference for Right Center news sources, where SND’s bias is most evident is in their Recommended Sites list. The list of links are primarily Right Center, Right Bias, or government fact sites. This, coupled with the slight Right Center slant in the article selection earns SND a Right Center rating. (D.
