The domain for TheDonald.Win was initially owned by Jody Williams, an Army veteran and site moderator. Williams eventually shut down the site following the Capitol riots in January 2021 due to concerns about its content, which included racism, threats, and QAnon references. Patriots.Win is a user-driven platform sustained through user donations and advertisements, with undisclosed ownership and funding.

Analysis / Bias

Patriots.Win exhibits a strong right-wing, pro-Trump bias. The forum is known for supporting conservative ideologies and often features content that critiques liberal policies and figures. Posts frequently include republished articles with user comments that reflect the community’s political leanings. For example, the article “James Clyburn Visits 10 Key Precincts in Georgia,” republished from The Last Refuge (Conservative Treehouse), which MBFC rates as a factually questionable source, includes user comments that criticize Democratic strategies and express support for Republican initiatives. The language used in the comments and posts is often emotionally loaded and critical of left-leaning perspectives.

The post titled “It’s so disgusting that they let a President appear on camera like this” is based on a tweet by Benny Johnson, a conservative commentator with a reputation for biased and often unreliable reporting. Comments like “filthy handicapped guy” and “disgusting food stain” show the forum’s tendency to provoke strong negative reactions against Democratic figures, which reflects the site’s strong partisan leanings and its role in promoting conservative viewpoints through emotionally charged and speculative discourse.

The site allows a wide range of user-generated content, which may vary in reliability and sourcing. While some posts may provide links to credible news sources, others may rely on opinion and speculation, reflecting the forum’s diverse and often biased nature. Despite the platform’s move and rebranding, according to Reuters, there have been ongoing issues with violent rhetoric. For instance, following the verdict in a prominent trial in May 2024, Trump supporters on Patriots.Win called for riots and violent retribution, continuing a pattern of aggressive and inflammatory language that suggests that while the site has shifted platforms, some of its most problematic elements, including threats of violence, persist.

While Patriots.Win hosts far-right content; it also features debates and criticisms that suggest a more complex ideological spectrum. For example, the post “President Trump has nothing to do with this!” reflects the site’s strong partisan leanings and presence of a range of opinions within the conservative and far-right spectrum. Typically, Patriots.Win exhibits a strong right-wing, pro-Trump bias. The publication frequently critiques left-leaning policies and consistently promotes conservative viewpoints. We rate them mixed factually due to their strong ideological stance, user-generated content, and lack of comprehensive sourcing or editorial oversight.
