Founded in April 2021 by Chaya Raichik, Libs of TikTok is a Twitter account and website that promotes conservative and anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda. Their about page features quotes from conservative figures like Dan Bongino “One of the accounts on social media I’ve fallen in love with is Libs of TikTok.” There is no other information about the site provided.
Due to the controversial and often false claims by Libs of TikTok, they have been suspended numerous times on Twitter and outright banned on TikTok. They have also faced suspensions from Facebook and Instagram.

Analysis / Bias
The Libs of TikTok Twitter page and website publishes conservative news stories and propaganda that usually denigrates the left such as this AOC lied about me on the House floor in an unhinged tirade. Most stories focus on anti-wokeness and anti-LGBTQ+ themes like this WHISTLEBLOWER: South Carolina schools teaching CRT and It’s time to check your kid’s toys for grooming materials.
While not all content on Libs of Tiktok is false, they have made numerous false claims, such as claiming that a school was putting litter boxes in the bathrooms for children who identify as cats and falsely accusing Boston Children’s Hospital of offering gender-affirming hysterectomies for young girls (see failed fact checks). This claim led to threats of violence against the hospital and staff. Her claim also led to a temporary suspension on Twitter. As of yet, Boston Children’s Hospital has not taken legal action.
Libs of TikTok and Chaya Raichik have been cited by anti-hate organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) who states:
Libs of TikTok is a popular anti-LGBTQ+ twitter account operated by former real estate agent Chaya Raichik. The account, which has over 1.3 million followers as of August 2022, attempts to generate outrage and stoke anti-LGBTQ+ hostility by reposting selected out-of-context social media content created by LGBTQ+ people and liberals. The individuals, events and organizations targeted by the account are frequent targets of harassment, threats and violence.
The Southern Poverty Law Center reports:
Libs of TikTok have used their platforms to agitate against LGBTQ culture aggressively this spring.
Finally, the LGBTQ media advocacy organization GLAAD states:
“Libs of TikTok is synonymous with maliciously targeting LGBTQ organizations, people, and allies by posting lies, misinformation, and blatant hate.”
In general, Libs of TikTok is a conservative social media and news website that frequently advances false claims and conspiracies against liberals and the LGBTQ+ communities.
