These media sources are slightly to moderately conservative in bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor conservative causes. These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Right-Center sources.
Factual Reporting: HIGH
Notes: According to it’s about page JNS or Jewish News Syndicate is a news site that focus on Israeli and Jewish related news and analysis around the world. Jonathan S.Tobin is the editor of JNS and also writes for National Review, New York Post, and The Federalist. The publishers are Russel Pergament and Joshua Katzen.
Although JNS uses neutral language in their headlines and articles they typically source through quotes “Trump: Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital was pinnacle of my first year”. They also use credible right biased sources such as Israel Hayom. American business magnate, Sheldon Adelson owns Israel Hayom. Adelson is also a JNS donor and a large contributor to Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign.
We rate JNS right biased editorially as most op-eds favor the Israeli right. For example, in this op-ed there is use of emotionally loaded language such as “..As Americans have learned in the last year as President Trump had to cope with the burden of the Mueller probe into Russian collusion, democracy can function even under such difficult circumstances.” JNS also has a pro-Netanyahu bias when it comes to Israeli politics. Overall, we rate JNS Right-Center biased and High for factual reporting. (M. Huitsing 2/25/2018)
