History

Founded by Lionel Curtis in 1920, Chatham House (Royal Institute of International Affairs) is a British think tank specializing in foreign policy, international economics, and regional studies. Chatham House is headquartered in London-UK. The Chatham House pioneered The Chatham House Rule for discussing controversial topics, particularly in politics and public affairs, which is called Chatham House Rule. Chatham House publishes articles with neutral headlines, such as: “How Russia’s invasion changed German foreign policy.” Regarding sourcing, they utilize credible sources such as the website of the German Federal Government Bundesregierungn, and journals like “International Affairs 98: 6, 2022.” In the article “How will Sweden’s right turn affect its foreign policy priorities?” they utilize The Guardian, BBC, AP, Le Monde, Financial Times sources, and The Swedish Psychological Defence Agency.

In analysis, the articles are balanced and well-sourced. When reporting on climate change, they publish articles such as “Climate change risk assessment 2021.
