Jon Husted “led the push to bring data centers to Ohio and gave billions of tax dollars to make it happen.” PolitiFact rating: Mostly True (Husted promoted data center expansion and defended tax incentives while serving as Ohio lieutenant governor, and data centers received about $2.5 billion in state and local tax incentives from 2017 to 2024.
