Voice of America Resumes Operations After Legal Victory Against Trump Admin

On World Press Freedom Day, over 1,400 employees of the Voice of America (VOA) and other U.S. Agency for Global Media outlets regained access to work systems after a federal court ruling overturned a controversial suspension by the Trump-appointed USAGM leadership. The court action followed legal challenges from Reporters Without Borders and others, citing First Amendment violations.
