When appropriate, we explain the rating and/or offer our own rating if we disagree with the fact-checker. (D. Van Zandt)

FALSE Claim by New York Post: “Chinese lab crafts mutant COVID-19 strain with 100% kill rate in ‘humanized’ mice”

FactCheck.org rating: False (The virus is related to the one that causes COVID-19 but did not descend from it, contrary to claims that it is a “mutant COVID-19 strain.” Nor did scientists “craft” the virus.)

FALSE Claim by Elon Musk: The long-term goal of the so-called “Border Security” bill is to enable illegal immigrants to vote.

Media Bias Fact Check rating: False (The claim lacks evidence and contradicts the actual provisions of the border security bill and established U.S. voting laws which only allow U.S. citizens to vote in federal elections, effectively debunking the assertion that the bill aims to enable illegal immigrants to vote.)

The unemployment, work eligible, are two different statistics. One doesn’t cancel out the other. And talk about half truths. Do you realize over 11,000 people a day retire thereby becoming part of those people that removed themselves from the work force?
It has been RepunliQuans, the right, and fake right news that have been pushing the idea of people removing themselves from the work force , and telling half truths, by not mentioning those that retire. So now you know one reason why there are more negative comments against RepubliQans.
Until Biden ran against Trump, since Bill Clinton I’ve been voting 3rd party. I only voted for him because of the rise of the right, Trump, and fake right news. The RepubliQan party is a mess. The right, fake right news are not credible, and have no integrity, which leads to more negative comments.
