Analysis / Bias
In review, Yellowhammer News covers news and politics as it relates to the state of Alabama. Story selection often favors the right and uses minimally loaded language to convey information such as this These Alabama counties supported Trump most. This report is properly sourced. Although many stories are related to politics others are straight news such as this Birmingham Business Alliance CEO resigning; Fred McCallum again takes interim role. Again all stories are properly sourced.
Editorially, Yellowhammer News presents from a conservative perspective often criticizing liberals such as Doug Jones 7 Things: No clear POTUS winner as court battle looms, Tuberville destroys Doug Jones, no surprises in Alabama and more …, while reporting favorably on Republican Tommy Tuberville, in fact allowing him to write an op-ed such as this: Tuberville: Doug Jones does disservice to Alabamians with his opposition to Judge Amy Coney Barrett. In general, reporting is one-sided favoring the right but usually is factual and well-sourced.
