Founded in 1979, The Pacific Research Institute for Public Policy (PRI) is a California-based free-market think tank which promotes “the principles of individual freedom and personal responsibility” through policies that emphasize a free economy, private initiative, and limited government. The current Chairman is Clark S. Judge. According to their about page “The mission of the Pacific Research Institute (PRI) is to champion freedom, opportunity, and personal responsibility for all individuals by advancing free-market policy solutions.”
