Dow drops 750 points, markets rattled after China lowers currency following new Trump tariff threats

U.S. markets slid sharply following the weakening of the Chinese yuan against the dollar, a flash of steel after President Donald Trump’s surprise threat of 10 percent tariffs on $300 billion of Chinese goods. All the major indices, the benchmark Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite, fell as much as 3.6 percent by 2 p.m. ET on Monday. The Dow dropped over 750 points to about 25,700 points, a 2.8 percent dip. The Nasdaq fell by nearly 3.6 percent. The S&P 500 headed for its worst day of 2019.

Take a deeeeep breath — God is watching, and He still loves us, no matter what. Time to regroup, folks; be Socratic and ask questions, like, “where are we going?”, “how can I help my fellow citizens who are worse off than I am?”. Lord, help us in our needs.
