The package sent to CNN’s Atlanta headquarters and discovered at a nearby post office is similar to the 14 parcels with pipe bombs intercepted last week that were addressed to various political, media and celebrity figures critical of President Donald Trump.
On Friday, Cesar Sayoc, 56, was taken into custody in Florida and charged in connection with the series of mailed bombs. He makes his first appearance in federal court today.
