LEFT-CENTER BIAS

These media sources have a slight to moderate progressive/liberal bias.  They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor progressive/liberal causes.  These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. Factual Reporting: MIXED

The Independent Media Center (also known as Indymedia or IMC) is a global open publishing network of journalist collectives that report on political and social issues. It is closely associated with the global justice movement, which criticizes neo-liberalism and its associated institutions. Indymedia uses a democratic media process that allows anybody to contribute. Due to publishing being open some stories may not be sourced properly. The primary political affiliation of IMC is anti-corporate. (7/9/2016) Updated (D. Van Zandt 7/22/2017)
