History

Founded in 2003, The US Chronicle is a conservative news and opinion blog. According to their about page “We are not part of the alt-right. We do not agree with or support them. If you see posts or comments explicitly supporting that movement please report them and they will be taken down. We are opposed to hate groups and applaud efforts to lead people away from these groups.”

Analysis / Bias

In review, The US chronicle does not produce original journalism, but rather opines on existing news stories from other sources. For example, this story Democrat Pollster Asks Union Leaders to Lie to Their Members. This story is completely unsourced. In another story there is again zero hyperlinked sourcing Tara Reade, Joe Biden’s Sexual Assault Accuser, Challenges Media To Confront Kamala Harris On Issue.

Editorially, all opinions favor the right and denigrate the left. This is not a credible source in 2020 as it was not in 2016.

Overall, we rate the US Chronicle Questionable and right biased as well as lacking transparency, poor sourcing, and promotion of conspiracy theories. (9/6/2016) Updated (D. Van Zandt 8/15/2020)
