QUESTIONABLE SOURCE
Reasoning: Extreme Right, Conspiracy, Propaganda
The Trump Media is an extreme right-wing clickbait website that is littered with obnoxious and sometimes inappropriate advertising. The headlines are over the top sensationalized and the content of the articles not much better. When they choose to source, it is often to the extreme right or other questionable sources. While we can’t say this source is fake news, it is very close as most stories are simply propaganda. It is probably best to visit the site to see how extreme it is, but here is an example: “Barack Obama gets Devastating News from Judicial Watch,” In this article, they source Breitbart (Extreme Right), Truth Monitor (Questionable Source-Extreme Right) and finally Judicial Watch (Right with a poor fact-checking record). There is not a single credible source that ties Obama to this story. Trump Media is also on Politifact’s fake news list. (3/1/2017) Updated (D. Van Zandt 6/20/2017)
