Reasoning: Extreme Right, Propaganda, Conspiracy, Some Fake News
The Truth Monitor is an extreme Alt-right website that promotes propaganda. Examples: Article: JUST IN: HUNDREDS SHOT, MORE INJURED…The fact is solid – there are indeed 403 shootings by Feb 14th in Chicago. The link to Breitbart then links to the Chicago Tribune – (should have just linked to the source and not link to a link). False statement from the article: “When the shootings continued to increase, Trump sent in more ATF agents at the beginning of February in an effort to reduce the gun crime epidemic that has overtaken the city.” – this is false. The link to nothing however this news article the ATF denies that any new agents were sent or even Trump asking them too. Lastly, this article it makes a statement that is not fact or lie but pure opinion. It’s purely a biased statement often heard from the right: “Since Chicago has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country, what’s happening there serves as proof that gun control laws will NOT lower crime.”
Judge Makes HORRIFYING Announcement About Impeaching Trump – Clickbait emotional headline and reports accurately, then adds one sentence that shows extreme bias – “He claimed Trump knows nothing about “[b]asic American values,” the Constitution, or separation of powers. However, what Painter did not disclose was a single piece of evidence as to WHY Trump should be impeached. This serves as a reminder that Trump has done NOTHING illegal, and that he is nowhere near actually being impeached. Painter and his friends can whine as much as they want, but Trump is here to stay!” – The last sentence sums up the whole site and shows the bias which is in favor of the Alt-right and Trump.
