The Newly Press – Bias and Credibility

Newly Press - Right BiasFactual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

RIGHT BIAS

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

Factual Reporting: MIXED

The Newly Press is a news and opinion blog written by James Turrell who claims to be an “American journalist, writer, and author.” The Newly Press publishes news that always favors the right and is anti-left. There is a strong use of loaded words in headlines such as this: Finally! Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to his NFL players: Disrespect the flag and you’re benched! While The Newly Press makes an effort to source information they often link to factually mixed sources such as the Daily Caller and Bizpac Review, which have poor track records with fact-checkers. Overall, we rate The Newly Press far right biased and mixed for factual reporting. (D. Van Zandt 12/03/2017)
