Founded in 2010 and a project of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center and the Carnegie-Knight Initiative, The Journalist’s Resource “curates, summarizes, and contextualizes high-quality research on newsy public policy topics.” 

According to its about page, “Our mission is to inform the news by bridging the communications gap between academia and journalism. Our goal: to get more high-quality information into the media stream.”

The website is operated by faculty, staff, and graduate students through the Carnegie-Knight Initiative.
