LEFT BIAS

These media sources are moderate to strongly biased toward liberal/progressive causes through story selection and/or political affiliation.  They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using an appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports, and omit information that may damage liberal/progressive causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Left Bias sources.

  • Overall, we rate NOTICE News Left Biased based on explicit progressive advocacy, support for democratic-socialist policies, and consistently negative framing of Trump, Republicans, and corporate political interests. We rate it Mostly Factual because the reporting usually rests on identifiable evidence, but we deduct for a failed fact check, highly one-sided framing, loaded language, and repeated causal or interpretive claims that go beyond what the underlying evidence supports.

Analysis / Bias

NOTICE News is explicitly progressive and strongly aligned with the political left. Its About page rejects “both-sides” journalism and states that the outlet intends to challenge established power rather than provide ideologically neutral coverage.

The publication strongly supports Medicare for All, organized labor, wealth redistribution, LGBTQ rights, abortion rights, progressive immigration reform, and politicians such as Bernie Sanders and Zohran Mamdani. Examples include We Need a Hostile Takeover of the Democratic Party, which calls for progressives to take control of the Democratic Party from wealthy and corporate interests, and How To Tell If You’re a Socialist, which presents democratic socialism favorably.

Coverage of Donald Trump and Republicans is overwhelmingly negative and frequently uses loaded terminology. Headlines include White House Caught Red-Handed Posting Fake Photo of Protestor, Refuses to Apologize and This is Americans’ biggest concern about AI—and Republicans are blocking the fix. Articles are often categorized under labels such as “Fascism,” “Greed,” and “Hatred.”

NOTICE generally cites genuine polls, government records, mainstream reporting, videos, and direct quotations. It also sometimes challenges misinformation that would benefit its own political side. For example, Is MAGA Eating Raw Chicken? Reality is Actually WORSE Than the Viral Posts explicitly rejects the viral claim that eating raw chicken had become an organized MAGA political movement.

However, factual presentation is weakened by frequent overstatement and unsupported causal conclusions. For example, Mamdani’s progressive policies are driving crime to record lows in NYC states that declining crime is the “direct result” of progressive policies, a causal conclusion that cannot be established from crime statistics alone. Similarly, its coverage sometimes presents motives or disputed allegations as more certain than the underlying evidence supports.

In August 2026, NOTICE promoted the claim that House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries received roughly $300,000 from healthcare-industry PACs before opposing Medicare for All. Snopes rated the broader claim Misleading, finding that Jeffries received substantial healthcare PAC funding but that the evidence did not establish that the donors broadly opposed universal healthcare or caused his policy position. NOTICE subsequently acknowledged the fact check and revised its framing.

In general, NOTICE News frequently reports verifiable underlying facts but blends news, advocacy, interpretation, and highly partisan framing. This reduces its factual rating despite experienced journalists and generally recognizable source material.

Failed Fact Checks

Overall, we rate NOTICE News Left Biased based on explicit progressive advocacy, support for democratic-socialist policies, and consistently negative framing of Trump, Republicans, and corporate political interests. We rate it Mostly Factual because the reporting usually rests on identifiable evidence, but we deduct for a failed fact check, highly one-sided framing, loaded language, and repeated causal or interpretive claims that go beyond what the underlying evidence supports.
