Founded in 1992, FairVote (formerly the Center for Voting and Democracy) is a 501(c)(3) organization that advocates electoral reform in the United States. FairVote advocates the use of Ranked choice voting (RCV), in elections. Under this system, voters rank candidates in order of preference, in contrast to the more widely used plurality voting system. FairVote also wants to abolish the electoral college. According to their about page “FairVote is a nonpartisan champion of electoral reforms that give voters greater choice, a stronger voice, and a representative democracy that works for all Americans.”

In review, FairVote advocates for the abolition of the Electoral College with a mission of fair representation for the citizens of the USA. In general, FairVote publishes low biased information, however they advocate for significant changes in the voting system, which is opposed to the conservative view.
