Aspenia Online is a forum and online journal of Aspen Institute Italia. Aspen Institute Italia is a partner of the Aspen Institute think tank based in Washington DC. According to Aspenia Online’s about page, Aspenia Online is a quarterly journal of Aspen Institute Italia, focusing on international affairs, addressing “issues of transatlantic interest, offering significant political commentary on US-European relations and their impact on the world order.” Aspen Institute Italia is based in Rome-Italy. Roberto Menotti is Editor-in-Chief of Aspenia Online, and Marta Dassù is Editor-in-Chief of the print edition.

In review, Aspenia Online features articles that promote a left-leaning bias on environmental issues such as “Why we need a green social contract to make decarbonisation just.” and on immigration, “The politics of future migration: hoaxes, nightmares and few certainties.” However, they also publish articles critical of the Biden administration, such as “Why Biden’s magical thinking is already failing in the Middle East.”  Aspenia Online utilizes various credible sources such as The Washington Post, NBC News, Cato.org, Financial Times, and Foreign Affairs
