Founded in 2018, Altermed Zentrum (Altermed Center) is an anonymously published website focused on alternative health. The domain is registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina but written in German. According to their about page, “Here you get a lot of information about medicinal plants, natural healing methods, healthy nutrition, health, and life optimization. As well as recipes for making your own remedies with which you can fight many ailments and diseases in a natural way.”

Altermed Zentrum publishes a mixture of republished content and original. Most articles focus on alternative health and frequently promote pseudoscience such as this Studies show: Garlic helps against 14 types of cancer and 13 types of infections. Why don’t doctors recommend this? The primary source for this story is GreenMedInfo, which frequently promotes misleading pseudoscientific information.
