‘WKRP In Cincinnati’ Is Back On The Air

Three adult-hits radio stations in Cincinnati, northern Kentucky, and Dayton have adopted the fictional WKRP call letters made famous by the CBS sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati. The stations, formerly branded as The Oasis, will continue playing music from the 1960s through 1980s, with an emphasis on the 1970s. The change followed a donation to a nonprofit that previously used the WKRP-LP call letters. The relaunch included hours of the show’s theme song and promos recorded by actor Gary Sandy. Grok App Downloads Fall Nearly 60%

Downloads of X’s standalone Grok app have fallen sharply, dropping nearly 60% from a January peak of more than 20 million to about 8.3 million in April, according to the Wall Street Journal. The earlier spike came amid misuse of Grok’s image-generation features, after which X restricted some functions to paying users. The decline comes as xAI faces heavy costs, engineering turnover, and competition from OpenAI, Google, Meta, Anthropic, and others. DOJ Subpoenas Wall Street Journal Over Alleged Classified Leaks

The Justice Department has subpoenaed the Wall Street Journal as part of an investigation into alleged leaks of classified information tied to the outlet’s reporting on Pentagon concerns about the risks of war with Iran. Dow Jones called the subpoenas an attack on constitutionally protected newsgathering and said it would oppose them. The DOJ said it is pursuing alleged criminal disclosures of sensitive material that could endanger national security and U.S. personnel.
