MBFC’s Daily Vetted Fact Checks for 06/20/2026 (Weekend Edition)

Media Bias Fact Check selects and publishes fact checks from around the world. We only utilize fact-checkers that are either a signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) or have been verified as credible by MBFC. Further, we review each fact check for accuracy before publishing. We fact-check the fact-checkers and let you know their bias. When appropriate, we explain the rating and/or offer our own rating if we disagree with the fact-checker. (D. Van Zandt)

FALSE Claim by Donald Trump (R): TrumpRx and related drug-pricing actions are “the greatest breakthrough in lowering healthcare costs in modern history.”

FactCheck.org rating: False (TrumpRx mainly directs users to cash prices, which may help some uninsured or cash-paying patients, but the large projected savings mostly come from hypothetical future most favored nation pricing policies, not the website itself.)

Donald Trump Rating

TRUE Claim via Social Media: In June 2026, the U.S. Postal Service proposed a rule in which it would stop delivering mail ballots for states that do not give the federal government voter lists.

Snopes rating: True (So far, the USPS has only proposed the rule to have itself stop delivering mail ballots for states that do not give the federal government voter lists. It has not been finalized and made active as of this writing, and it is facing legal challenges that could change, delay or stop the rule’s final implementation.)

MOSTLY
FALSE
Claim by Jon Ossoff ad: Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Collins “admitted” that President Donald Trump is in the Epstein files.

PolitiFact rating: Mostly False (Collins speculated Trump was in the files, but the ad omitted that Collins said Trump would be there because he had flagged Epstein’s behavior to authorities, not because Collins was alleging Trump’s wrongdoing.)

Jon Ossoff Rating

FALSE (International: Australia): Claim by Senator Pauline Hanson: Labor has been bringing in more than 1375 people per day for the past three years.

AAP rating: False (Daily net migration over the past three years has averaged less than 1375, which appears to be an estimate of population growth, including births.)
