History

Stanford Report is the official news and communications publication of Stanford University in Stanford, California. It publishes research findings, university announcements, campus news, expert analysis, and stories about faculty, students, and Stanford-affiliated institutions.

Stanford does not maintain a traditional About page for the publication. However, its Contact page identifies Stanford Report as an official university communications channel produced by the Office of University Communications.

Stanford’s content guidelines state that material comes from the university’s seven schools, major offices, interdisciplinary institutes, and University Communications and undergoes editorial review before publication.
