Analysis / Bias

In review, The Sun-Sentinel reports local news, crime, and sports through reporters with minimal bias such as this: Florida releases more details on coronavirus infections in senior-care homes. National and international news is provided by the Associated Press

Editorially, the Sun-Sentinel has endorsed both Republican and Democratic Presidential candidates. For example, over the last 40 years, they have endorsed 5 Republicans and 5 Democrats with Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton endorsed in 2016. A thorough review of the opinion page reveals both right and left opinions, with a reasonable balance. Based on our observation it skews left minimally, but not enough to move into the left-center classification. In general, the news is reported factually and with minimal editorial bias.
