Founded in 1963, WQAD – Moline News is an ABC-affiliated TV station based in Moline, Illinois. wqad.com is the website for WQAD that covers news, sports, and weather.

On June 29, 2015, the Gannett Company split in two, one specializing in print media and the other specializing in broadcast and digital media. The broadcasting company retained WQAD, which took the name TEGNA
